Job description

We in the Project Management business area are community builders who love to run projects. We lead all actors in construction projects towards common goals based on proven methods and with all of AFRY's expertise behind us.

Now we are looking for an experienced project manager/project manager to join our team in southern Sweden, with a special focus on strengthening and developing our business in the Jönköping region. Here you will have a central role in driving projects forward, developing customer relationships and contributing to local growth work.

In the role, you are responsible for leading projects in construction, mainly in areas such as commercial properties and community building. You will work through the entire project process - from early stages, calculations and procurement to implementation, handover and follow-up. You will also have the opportunity to work on assignments linked to our recurring customer relationships, including within defense / security-classified facilities, municipalities and regions.

Depending on your skills, the role may also include assignments as a construction inspector, BAS-P / BAS-U or control manager.

The work is varied with parallel projects of different sizes and complexity. You will work both in the office, at the customer's site and in a project environment. You will be supported by experienced colleagues in the region and a leadership characterized by freedom under responsibility.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are confident in your role, take responsibility and thrive in a work where technology, customer dialogue and business are close together. You naturally build trusting relationships and work in a structured way even in complex project environments.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or design management
• Documented experience of running medium-large scale projects
• Experience of client-facing work and ability to build own coating
• Good understanding of contract forms (AB/ABT)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
• Relevant education: Civil Engineer, YH/KY Construction or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written

Additional:

• Experience from projects within e.e.g. hospitals, defense properties or municipal activities
• Established contact network in the region
• Competence in BAS-P / BAS-U
• Certification as an inspector (RISE / SBR)
• Inspection manager according to PBL (level K)
