Job description

As an Experienced Robot Programmer, you will play a key role in the development of advanced automation solutions for industrial plants. You will be responsible for creating efficient, safe and reliable robotic applications that meet customer needs. The role is technically challenging and varied, with tasks spanning the entire project lifecycle.Your main responsibilities: 

• System design and programming of robotic applications for various industrial processes 
• Integration with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems to ensure a complete automation solution 
• Commissioning and optimization of robotic cells and associated control systems 
• Troubleshooting and problem solving in case of technical challenges, both in the project phase and in customer support 
• Ensuring that the solutions meet high demands on function, quality and safety 

Examples of work steps during a typical week: 

• Participate in tender work by developing technical solutions and calculations for customer plants 
• Work in project teams in the office with the design, programming and testing of robot applications 
• Conduct troubleshooting at customer sites to quickly fix operational issues and minimize production downtime 
• Be seconded to customer to reinforce their organization and contribute with your expertise

You can become a broad competence resource that supports colleagues and customers, or choose to specialize in a narrower area and become an expert in, for example, advanced robotics, vision systems or security solutions. The working environment is flexible, with the option to combine in-office and remote working when required. 

Qualifications

Collaboration is essential - you'll work closely with colleagues, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve common goals. Communication is equally important; you'll express yourself clearly and simply, share relevant information and actively seek it out when needed. You need to have a high level of stress tolerance, which means that you think logically and exude calm and confidence even in pressured situations. Finally, you are driven and ambitious - you take the initiative and step into the role of lead programmer when required. 

Requirements 

• At least 5 years of experience in programming robotic applications 
• Documented experience in simulation, programming and commissioning of robots from brands ABB, KUKA,  Yaskawa or Fanuc 
• Relevant technical education in automation,  mechatronics or equivalent 
• Knowledge in simulation, programming and commissioning of robots 
• Swedish, both orally and in writing 
• B-driving license 

Advantageous 

• Experience in programming within PLC, HMI and SCADA systems 
• Knowledge in PLC and SCADA systems such as ABB, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Intouch, Citect, Ignition 
• Depth in robotics or industrial automation 
• English, both oral and written
