As an inspection engineer, you’ll be working to create a safer society. In this role, you’ll help prevent both personal injury and property damage. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting electrical safety inspections and construction inspections in the industrial and public sector in the Jönköping region.

In the role of inspection engineer, you may be called upon to conduct electrical safety assessments, risk analyses, thermography, energy analyses, or other investigations and design projects. Other examples of assignments may include working with, for example, Ex-classification of potentially explosive areas and conducting electrical safety training. Depending on your interests, a combination of inspection assignments with other tasks in areas such as electrical design, power systems, project management, or automation may also be possible.

We support not only external clients but also colleagues within AFRY with our specialized expertise. You will work on various types of projects and assignments, which will be guided by your skills, the client’s needs, and your personal ambitions and development plan. Our department offers you exciting and challenging work within a friendly team that is eager to welcome new colleagues. AFRY’s inspection engineers are authorized by the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority (EN) to conduct audit inspections of electrical installations. We have several inspection engineers who work together to develop our inspection operations.
