Job description

AFRY has for many years successfully supported energy producers, electricity distributors and industries.

The energy market is currently experiencing its largest growth since Sweden became electrified and the need for reinvestments and expansions of the electricity networks is great in the coming years. At AFRY Grid Integration South, we are about 35 consultants in southern Sweden who are helping to build the power supply of the future.

Our Electric Power Group offers you challenging tasks as Group Manager in a very nice and knowledgeable team. Together, we have a broad and deep competence in electrical power that gives us the opportunity to help both our customers and each other to succeed and develop. We see a great need for our services and have many interesting projects underway. With us, we work with, among other things:

  • Investigation
  • Project planning
  • Construction
  • Project management

We also have assignments in other electric power-related areas such as selective plans, lightning protection, network calculations and inspection.

As group manager, you are responsible for creating a safe and stable team, developing our service offering with our customers and contributing to the growth of the unit. The role involves full personnel responsibility as well as attracting new employees and working on your own assignments.

The position offers great freedom to shape and run your group. You will be part of the section's management team and collaborate with other managers in an environment characterized by trust and job satisfaction. The work takes place mainly at our office in Lund.

We are looking for you who are motivated by creating and maintaining many and good relationships with employees, customers and colleagues. What knowledge and experience do you need to bring with you?

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the energy industry
  • Experience in a leading position such as project manager or project manager
  • .e.g. project manager or assignment manager
  • You write and speak fluently in both Swedish and English as both languages are frequently used both within AFRY and with our customers
  • B-driving license and access to a car

 

Additional:

  • Experience in the electricity grid industry. 
  • Experience in a managerial role with budget and personnel responsibility
  • Experience in sales and tendering work
  • Experience working as a consultant/contractor experience
