Job description

AFRY is now looking for a Group Manager who wants to be involved in further developing our HVAC business in Lycksele, Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik. The group currently consists of seven employees, and we would like you to work in one of these offices.

You will be part of the business area Public & Commercial Places, which offers technical consulting services to the construction and real estate market. In recent years, we have had strong growth in the area, and now we are continuing to invest in our plumbing business. Within the section there are currently about 36 plumbing consultants, from Kiruna in the north to Sundsvall in the south.

As Group Manager, you will have a central role in leading assignments in plumbing - from early stages to completed technical documentation. You work with calculations, design and drawings in MagiCAD, AutoCAD or Revit, and are responsible for ensuring that deliveries are of high quality and follow set timeframes and budgets.

The role also includes:

• Participate in design meetings and coordination with other disciplines
• Develop technical solutions in varying projects in real estate, industry, schools and hospitals
• Plan resources and follow up on progress in assignments
• Supervise and support junior consultants in the daily work

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have good experience of working in a leading role - as a consultant, contractor or client - and who want to help shape the future of the HVAC business together with our section manager.

You have a genuine interest in installation technology, construction and sustainable construction, but just as important is your commitment to leading and developing people. The role involves both staff and assignment responsibility, as well as close collaboration with the section manager to drive growth in our locations.

We would like you to:

• Have at least five years of experience working independently with plumbing design as an administrator.
• Have an engineering education at university level or equivalent experience from the industry
• Have the opportunity to be present at our offices and with customers in the market area
• Have your own contact network with customers and suppliers in the region
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
• Have experience of project planning in Revit.

You are sensitive to customer needs - both expressed and unspoken - and have the ability to translate these into business opportunities that create added value. You have direct contact with clients, consultants and contractors, and are motivated by building, developing and running the business both in the short and long term.
