AFRY is looking for a Head of Section for Geotechnics!
Do you enjoy creating business opportunities and following strategies? Do you have a broad customer network and are you passionate about creating value for our customers? We are now looking for a new section manager for our geotechnical section. Is this you?
As Section Manager, you will be responsible for staff, results and strategy for a large section with well-developed activities for both geotechnical processing and field investigations. Together with two group managers and team leaders, you will work to create a good working environment, win business projects and develop the business further in accordance with the established strategy. The position also includes work in chargeable projects.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have relevant education and background as a consultant. You currently live in Stockholm and can express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. We believe you have worked at least ten years in geotechnical engineering and that you have good experience of being responsible for tenders and with a wide network in the industry. You also have good experience of working as an assignment manager for major geotechnical investigations.
As a person, you are result-oriented, responsible and flexible and good at listening to your surroundings. You have previously demonstrated good leadership and can naturally engage and motivate. As we have employees in other countries, it is also of great importance to work to make them feel included in the team and in our missions. You have good self-awareness and thrive in a group with high ceilings where you both learn from others and teach regardless of the number of years of experience. Of course, you are curious about geotechnics as a technical field and are happy to contribute to its development. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
