Job Description

Are you an experienced HVAC project manager looking to have a greater impact—on business, technology, and teams?

Here in Skara, you’ll play a key role where you’ll not only lead projects but also help develop our business in areas such as healthcare, the public sector, and technically complex environments.

AFRY’s business area Places is one of Sweden’s leading players in the construction and real estate sector, with approximately 1,000 employees. We work on some of the country’s most complex projects—particularly in healthcare environments where requirements for functionality, operational reliability, and future-proofing are crucial.

You will work on both major national assignments and local projects in Skaraborg and Västra Götaland, often in close collaboration with regional authorities and public clients. This role offers you a varied and rewarding workday, where you’ll oversee projects from the early stages through to completion.

As a project manager, you’ll play a central role with both technical and business responsibilities.

You will:

  • Lead and be responsible for projects from the early stages through to delivery
  • Ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance in projects
  • Serve as an advisory partner to clients, often in hospital projects
  • Drive technical solutions in complex projects together with AFRY’s extensive collective knowledge base
  • Coach and support colleagues and contribute to the team’s development
  • Help develop our position as a leading hospital design firm throughout the country

Here, you’ll combine technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership in projects where you can truly make a difference.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Several years of experience (approx. 6–10+ years) in HVAC as a consultant
  • Experience in assignment or project management
  • Preferably experience with hospital projects or similarly complex environments
  • Experience working closely with clients and driving business dialogue
  • Strong expertise in design (AutoCAD/Revit)

To thrive with us, we believe you:

  • Be confident in your role and enjoy taking on responsibility
  • Have a clear business drive and value client dialogue
  • Thrive in projects with high demands and many interfaces
  • Are organized, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious
  • Have the curiosity and courage to develop both technology and work methods

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a Class B driver’s license.

Additional information

With us, you get more than just a job—you get the opportunity to make a difference. We drive change in everything we do. Innovation happens when bold ideas meet commitment and collaboration.

We offer you:

  • Participation in some of the most technically advanced projects in healthcare and the public sector
  • A role with a high level of trust and real influence
  • Strong development opportunities—both technically and in leadership
  • A dedicated team with high competence and strong cohesion

We believe in balance, transparency, and having fun together, while delivering at a high level.

Would you like to help shape the sustainable society of the future—while having real influence in your role?
