Do you want to work with advanced instrument technology in one of Sweden's largest engineering offices - and in the heart of Nordic industrial projects?

AFRY Process Industries in Gothenburg continues to grow and is now looking for instrument engineers who want to work close to the technology in some of the industry's most complex and technology-intensive assignments.

Our office in Gothenburg is one of AFRY's largest in Sweden and serves as an important Nordic hub for deliveries in the process industry, energy, oil & gas and petrochemicals. Here you will find strong project activities, high-tech expertise and close collaboration between several engineering disciplines - giving you both breadth and depth in your technical development.

This is what you will be working with

As an instrument engineer at AFRY in Gothenburg, you will be a key person in our deliveries. You will work closely with other disciplines throughout the project cycle and contribute to robust, safe and future-proof industrial solutions.

Example of work tasks:

  • Instrument design in feasibility studies, basic design and detailed design
  • Development of instrument lists, functional descriptions and technical specifications
  • Selection and sizing of instrumentation and valves for demanding process and industrial environments
  • Review of supplier documentation and technical solutions
  • Cross-disciplinary collaboration with process, electrical, automation and mechanical/pipe design
  • Support during installation, testing and commissioning

The work is conducted from the Gothenburg office and in close collaboration with customers, often in large multidisciplinary projects, supported by modern tools for design, document management and planning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are driven by technology, thrive in a project environment and want to take clear engineering responsibility.

We believe that you:

  • Have experience of instrumentation work in the process industry, energy, oil & gas or petrochemicals
  • ; gas or petrochemistry
  • Have worked in project form - independently and/or in larger technical teams
  • Have technical education from university, college or YH
  • Master Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • Have a B-driving license (customer visits and travel occur)
