Job description

Now AFRY is going big and starting a new segment called Defense! Do you feel responsible for the Swedish defense, want to be part of this venture and contribute with your IT skills? With us you can do just that.

AFRY has, among other things, been awarded a multi-year framework agreement with the Swedish Armed Forces where we will deliver their consulting services in IT.

We are currently looking for a junior consultant in IT operations/infrastructure who wants to be part of developing the defense systems of the future.

As an IT consultant in defense operations, you will work with advanced technical solutions and be part of a team that ensures that our systems are robust, secure and efficient. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that have great significance for Sweden's - for our - defense capability.

As a consultant, travel is a natural part of the work.

Qualifications

Your professional skills are of course important, but what you have to contribute as a person is at least as important. For example, in this role you need to enjoy working in teams and giving and receiving feedback, find it interesting when circumstances change, have a willingness to contribute and help others and you do not hesitate to get help yourself if you get stuck.

Requirements - you have:

• A minimum of two (2) years of work experience of Linux in operation in a server environment.
• A minimum of one (1) year of work experience of LAN/WAN regarding installation, configuration and operation of routers and switches.
• Swedish citizenship. For the customer and the assignments in question, Swedish citizenship and approved security clearance are required before employment.

Requirements - you should have:

• Working experience with Microsoft Windows Server, version 2016 or higher, gained in operations and/or management and/or development assignments.
• Experience in virtualization, gained in operations and/or management and/or development assignments.
• Experience in IT-related work in server halls and associated technical spaces.
• Experience in the installation, configuration and operation of firewalls.
• Working experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Working experience in IT development projects.
• B driving license.
