We at Advanced Automation are looking for Junior Electrical Power Engineers for our office in Gothenburg. As an employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work as a consultant with many of our exciting customers in the region, as well as be part of projects run in-house. Our section offers you exciting and challenging tasks in a nice team that is happy to welcome more electrical power colleagues. Together we have a broad and deep competence that gives us the opportunity to help both our customers and each other to succeed and develop. We experience a great need for our services and have many interesting projects underway.

You will work with different types of projects and assignments, which will be guided by your skills, the customer's needs and your personal ambition and development plan. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with:

• Pre-studies and investigations
• Inquiry documents
• Short circuit calculations and selective plans
• Construction and commissioning
• Project management

There are also good opportunities to work in other electric power related areas such as relay testing, measurement and analysis of power quality and inspection.

The Electric Power section at AFRY in Gothenburg is today a group of 14 employees who work in a specialist group in electric power. We run advanced electrical power projects for our external customers ranging from heavy petrochemical operations to vehicle development/manufacturing to complex hospital facilities. We also support the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist expertise in electrical power. This means that we are present throughout AFRY's customer base, which is incredibly exciting. We continue to see a great interest in our services and would like to develop these further - and we hope you are one of those we are looking for!

Qualifications

You have a genuine interest in technology and like to take on new assignments with both drive and commitment. You value an outgoing work where you get to build relationships and feel responsible for your tasks. 

To succeed well and thrive in your role as an electrical power engineer, we would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in electrical power or have acquired equivalent knowledge from practical work experience.
• Experience in contracting activities.
• Have a driving license B as traveling at times may be a natural part of your role.
• Be fluent in Swedish and English well in speech and writing as this is required in dialogue with both customers and colleagues.

If you also have practical experience as a service / industrial electrician or are somehow used to "rolling up your sleeves" in a practical way when needed, this is something we see as "meritorious".
