Job Description

Would you like to work at the cutting edge of technology and develop your skills in physics, algorithms, and advanced sensor systems?

We are currently seeking a junior engineer for a long-term assignment with a leading international player in high-tech product development. You will be employed by AFRY and have the opportunity to work closely with experienced specialists in system development, image processing, and measurement technology. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to transition to a position with the client in the long term.

About the Role

You will work on the development, analysis, and calibration of advanced measurement systems where physics, software, and hardware interact. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain a deep understanding of complex technical systems and is driven by solving technical problems.

You’ll be part of a team of specialists with deep technical expertise and will work in small project groups where collaboration and knowledge sharing are key.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Calibration and verification of system measurement performance
  • Analysis of test and measurement data
  • Model development and optimization
  • Algorithm development
  • Troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
  • Development of scripts and analysis tools
  • Planning, execution, and analysis of tests and experiments

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent in engineering physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
  • Is a recent graduate or has a few years of experience
  • Has a strong interest in physics, optics, mathematics, control engineering, or algorithm development
  • Have experience with programming, such as Python or MATLAB
  • Communicate effectively in Swedish and English

It is advantageous if you have an interest in or experience with:

  • AI and machine learning
  • Image processing or signal processing
  • Measurement technology and data analysis
