AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together, we accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society.

Job description

Our region consists of close to 250 employees who are driven by creating the sustainable infrastructure of the future. Maybe you too are driven by development, innovation and by finding the right collaborations and customers who want to develop with our help.

Within the civil engineering business area, in Sweden alone, nearly 1,400 specialists work successfully with, among other things, our strategic sustainability services, assignments and projects. With us, we have a highly valued working climate, where we support and encourage each other and allow each other to grow.

The tasks, regardless of education/focus in the title, are an enormously important link between individual property owners, municipalities, authorities and other stakeholders affected by our road and rail projects. You will have a great deal of personal responsibility and may work in projects with both new and rebuilding of roads and railways as well as development of land to be developed by the municipality or a private actor.

You also participate in the development of road plans, railway plans and detailed plans, maintain contacts and inform property owners during the planning and implementation stages, handle valuation, negotiation and contractual issues and are responsible for property law and damage prevention issues. You must therefore be able to handle real estate legal documents, for example drawing up agreements.

The work sometimes involves meetings outside office hours, for example consultation meetings with the public, landowner meetings and land surveying meetings.

Location can be either Umeå or Örnsköldsvik.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you who have a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120p) in land surveying/law or agronomist/forester or education with a focus on real estate law or other university education together with experience that we deem equivalent.

Of course, you see yourself as a team player and you enjoy sharing your knowledge. You have very good communication skills and have an excellent command of the Swedish and English languages and also hold a driving licence. You have a desire to build something new and exciting with a large network of like-minded people and a group of fantastic employees. At AFRY we live by our motto: "Brave - Devoted - Team players" which also says a lot about the person we are looking for!

We want our employees to thrive and develop through clear competence development programs that are adapted to each person.

We also know that employees who feel good, both physically and mentally, are the most important success factor. That is why we care about a good working environment and a balance between work and leisure.
