Job Description

Would you like to work at the intersection of logistics, engineering, data management, and the AI solutions of the future? We are now looking for a Junior Data Specialist for an exciting assignment in the defense industry.

In this role, you will work with equipment data, item information, and technical information flows in accordance with international standards. You’ll play a key role in developing efficient processes for data management and digitization while supporting projects, customers, and internal operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with equipment data and product information 
• Process, analyze, and quality-assure data from various systems
• Support projects with issues related to product information and logistical product data
• Create reports, summaries, and product information
• Work with exporting and importing data in various formats
• Contribute to the development and automation of processes using programming and AI
• Participate in strategic improvement efforts related to data management and information flows

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Very strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience with programming, such as Python, VBA, C#, or Java
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, XML, XSLT, and Access
• An analytical approach to work and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English

The following are a plus:

• Knowledge of ASD S2000M
• Understanding of S1000D, S3000L, or similar standards
• Experience with AI or generative AI
• Ability to use AI-based tools for analysis or automation
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
• Familiarity with the defense industry
• Experience with logistics data, spare parts management, or PLCs

Since this role is in the defense industry, you must be a Swedish citizen 

Additional Information

This is a fixed-term position with the prospect of continued employment with the client after a period of 12–15 months.

We expect applicants from other locations to be willing to relocate and live in Örnsköldsvik.
