Job Description

Would you like to start your career in production engineering and help develop the manufacturing processes of the future? We are currently seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site assignment in Trollhättan. This role is perfect for you if you are a recent graduate of a Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Economics program, or if you have a few years of work experience and want to continue developing your skills.

About the Role

As a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be part of a production engineering team where you’ll work together to ensure that production delivers the right quality, at the right cost, and on time. You will:

  • Support work related to production planning, method development, and the design of manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate activities related to tools, fixtures, and improvement initiatives in production.
  • Work closely with operators, technicians, and other engineers in your day-to-day work.
  • Contribute to efforts toward robust processes, zero defects, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in problem-solving and the use of quality tools.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is early in their career and wants to grow into the role of Manufacturing Engineer. You have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • A strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn new methods and processes.
  • An analytical and fact-based approach to work.
  • The ability to work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and drive tasks forward.
  • Good collaboration skills and a willingness to contribute to the team.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and English (required).
