We are looking for someone who wants to take on an assignment that is a collaboration between AFRY and our high-tech customer in Örnsköldsvik. Check out the position as a production technician below!
Our client, in the defense industry, is facing a period of several exciting changes and challenges and is now in need of reinforcement. They see a need for junior production technicians with a focus on quality.
You will work daily to ensure that production has the conditions to meet short-term delivery and act as support in technical and product matters. You will work with quality data and investigate and prevent root causes that negatively affect the quality outcome. There will be a lot of work with numbers in the form of metrics and KPIs, while large parts of your time will be spent in the production environment.
In addition to the fast, daily work, the opportunity will eventually be given to act as project manager in more long-term strategic issues, e.g. investments, installations and other operational changes.
You will have a central role where you will have the opportunity to work with technical challenges, often in teams together with other production technicians and operators.

To be successful in the role, we believe that you have completed a degree as either a university engineer or civil engineer. You have a burning interest in technology and an analytical ability but are not afraid to work hands-on and spend a large part of your time in production.
As a person, you are analytical, fearless and have a curious, independent ability.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in speech as well as in writing.
We expect that you already live in and have the right to work in Sweden. The position will probably require that you undergo and pass a security check and that a negative drug test must be completed before the assignment begins.
