Do you want to be part of a team of project managers where you can develop and work with exciting clients - and have a lot of fun together? Then this is the team you are looking for!

In the position you might start as a sub-project manager/project coordinator/supporting projects or you might run your own projects from scratch. Our section at AFRY supports companies in the automotive and defense industries, among others, with everything from investment projects in production to product development or industrialization projects.

We see an increased need for consultants with a background in construction but who want to take the next step in their career and move towards project management. In your role, you will help our customers meet the demands placed on their business.

Your assignment may, for example, involve:

- Being responsible for the development of a product and leading a group of engineers from different disciplines - from idea to production, through requirements definition, design, verification/validation and production.

- Business development: to produce a documented development methodology on behalf of the customer, which includes identification of needs, anchoring of proposals, decisions on system support, etc.

The projects are usually carried out at our customers in Greater Stockholm or at our own premises in Solna. You will be surrounded by many competent colleagues and an active exchange of experience, e.g. through internal lectures and the opportunity for mentorship.

Qualifications

You have an engineering degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or technical physics. You have gained some experience since your graduation; either as a designer or that you have supported / run your own projects - preferably in product development companies and/or in industrial projects. Especially experience from the defense industry is considered very meritorious.

As a person, you are driven, communicative and clear! You plan and drive both your own and others' work forward while always delivering results on schedule. You are motivated by identifying new solutions and creating business opportunities.

If you are certified in any of the following frameworks and areas: PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, SAFe or similar, this is an advantage, but not a requirement. If you are not already a certified project manager, the opportunity for certification will be given with us, to develop and feel confident in your role.

You who apply must have fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and in writing.

For some of our customers, security checks are mandatory, which is why specific requirements for citizenship are set for this recruitment, among other things. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
