Job Description
We are looking to strengthen our team in Uppsala with a landscape architect or landscape engineer. We’re looking for someone with design experience from projects involving neighborhood land and public spaces. You’re eager to continue developing in your role as a designer while honing your creative skills.
Our projects range from preliminary studies and analyses to detailed design and the development of design concepts, illustrations, plans, technical specifications, and bills of quantities. We work primarily with residential areas such as housing, schools, and commercial spaces; public spaces such as streets, squares, and parks; and infrastructure. Collaborating with clients and designers from other technical disciplines is a natural part of our work.
Our team consists of landscape architects and civil engineers specializing in land development and water and wastewater systems, who work closely together on projects. With us, you’ll work in a structured team environment, where your commitment and desire to grow are key factors in the success of our projects and in our relationships with clients. Qualifications
We are looking for a positive team member who is driven by new challenges, high-quality results, and the joy of growing alongside colleagues. You are responsible and have a strong ability to organize and prioritize your work. You understand that design is closely linked to technical execution and forms the foundation for long-term management.
You have 1–3 years of professional experience in design, work in AutoCAD, and preferably Revit. You have experience in designing and developing design concepts, as well as—ideally—in grading, technical specifications, and stormwater and surface water management.
Since AFRY is an international company, we expect you to be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, in order to meet our clients’ needs and collaborate with international colleagues.
You hold a master’s degree in landscape architecture or a bachelor’s degree in landscape engineering.
