Are you an engineer with experience in Life Science and working in an industrial or lab environment and ready for the next step in your career?

We are a dedicated team that helps our clients develop the products, processes and methods of the future for the Life Science industry. Our assignments vary from development to production. We work both together in larger Life Science projects and in individual consulting assignments. You work primarily with colleagues who have their expertise in biotechnology and chemistry. Our customers appreciate our expertise in the Life Science industry and entrust us with interesting assignments in process development, molecular biology, cell cultivation, protein purification, analysis and method development, instrument qualification, testing and verification, etc.

As a consultant with us, you will for example focus on:

• Different molecular biology techniques
• Cell culture
• Protein purification and protein analysis
• Performing analyses with, for example, HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, GC, Spectrometry, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA or other relevant methods.
• Method development and method validation and qualification of instruments
• Process development and scale-up of processes
• Testing and verification

Then it can of course be expanded with other interesting areas. As a Life Science engineer, you work broadly and the focus areas can vary depending on the assignment. We are looking for employees in Uppsala, but regular commuting to Stockholm (or in Mälardalen) may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a theoretical foundation combined with a great interest in working with creative problem solving. For example, it may involve working practically with laboratory tasks or with instrument and production equipment.

 We also see that you can check the following competencies/experience:

• You have a degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology or biology (or equivalent relevant technical-scientific education).
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience working in the Life Science industry.
• You have good experience in molecular biology techniques and analytical methods.
• You have experience in lab and/or production environment.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in writing and speech.

Advantageous experience:

• You have experience of GMP and/or ISO.
• Experience of regulated activities and experience of documenting results and other work according to routines and regulations.
• B driving license.

To thrive in the role, you need to be driven, self-motivated and have an easy time communicating with others. You have the ability to collaborate and work in project form. You are structured, analytical and have the ability to take into account the whole without losing focus on the delivery. You appreciate variety in work tasks and adapting to change comes naturally.
