As a materials engineer you will work in a flexible and quality-oriented way to help customers to the best technical and sustainable solution. The majority of your time will be spent with our customers and as we have customers both in Sweden and globally, the role involves some business travel.
For our Quality Engineering (QE) market area, we are now looking for new employees for several of our offices in Sweden. In our team, we are everything from new graduates to seniors with a broad competence in quality, welding and materials.
Qualifications
As a person, you are driven, independent, responsible, careful and can work both in a team and independently. You have an engineering background and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience from the defense or automotive industry is a plus.
AFRY is looking for a composite engineer with knowledge in material technology and composite manufacturing processes. You will work in various development projects where you contribute with your expertise to design and optimize composite materials. You will participate in composite material development projects. Analyze and test material properties to ensure performance and durability. Help optimize manufacturing processes in composite production.
Since much of the work can also be towards international customers, you master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
For this position, you need to be a Swedish citizen and the assignment will require a security check.
