Job Description

Are you a curious mechanical engineer who wants to work on exciting product development in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues?

We at AFRY Product Development are now looking for driven mechanical engineers who want to be part of exciting projects across various industries. With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work both on client-site assignments and on our in-house projects, where you’ll collaborate with product developers, production engineers, and experts in other technical fields.

The role offers great variety, and you’ll work on projects of different sizes and at different stages, from early concept development to the finished product. At the same time, you’ll become part of a team where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and personal development are a natural part of everyday life.

Responsibilities

As a mechanical engineer, you will:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems
• Work with modeling, simulation, and design using various CAD tools
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other engineering disciplines to create innovative solutions
• Contribute your experience and knowledge while growing alongside the team

Together with your colleagues, you will help our customers develop competitive and sustainable products.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development
• Relevant education in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or product development
• Experience with CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or Catia
• Experience with technical drawing standards and GD&T
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English

It is a plus if you have:

• Practical background from, for example, a workshop, production, assembly, or the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of machined components and other manufacturing processes
• Experience with materials such as castings, aluminum, sheet metal, and other structural materials
• A Class B driver’s license
