As a product developer with us, you’ll work with both local and global companies across a wide range of industries. In your role, you’ll help design and develop products where many aspects must be taken into account, such as design, function, durability, materials, manufacturing techniques, and repairability. The breadth of the role means that no two days are alike, and you’ll have many points of contact.

We’re part of AFRY’s office in Solna and work both north and south of the office at our clients’ sites; there’s some opportunity for hybrid work (the extent of this depends on your specific assignment and the client’s location).

Qualifications

Who are you? 

• You have a degree in engineering in a relevant field: mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, design & product development, or similar
• You have several years of professional experience in mechanical design
• You have experience with CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, NX, and/or Catia
• You have a good command of both Swedish and English (much of the work is conducted in Swedish)
• We would also like to see that you have some experience with testing
• You can work independently and take the initiative
