Job Description

There’s a lot happening right now at AFRY! We’re ramping up our work in electrical engineering, automation, programming, and digitalization—and our projects in the Mälardalen region are growing rapidly. We have several major projects entering the implementation phase, and we’re now looking for more colleagues who want to be part of taking our Aveva deliveries to the next level.

Your role—where technology, structure, and innovation meet 

As part of our Aveva team, you’ll be a key player in both large and small projects. We work on everything from feasibility studies and smart digital solution proposals to complete deliveries of the facilities of the future. The role is versatile and shaped by your strengths and ambitions—here, you get to help shape your own path forward.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinating and managing major projects using Aveva s engineering tools 
  • Working with catalogs, specifications, and PML and C# programming 
  • Database management and data modeling that lay the foundation for smart digital workflows 
  • Structuring and automating drawing production for increased efficiency 
  • In-house development, where you help improve our processes and work methods 

Here, you’ll be involved every step of the way—from concept and digital models to the finished facility at the customer’s site.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you are a self-starter with strong experience working and performing in project-based teams. At AFRY, we value a strong business mindset, as our interactions are built on collaboration and strong relationships. When faced with complex technical problems, we believe you have a solution-oriented approach; in addition, you recognize yourself in the requirements profile below:    • Experience with AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware) • Experience with IoT and OT •   Relevant engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Science, or equivalent  •    A valid driver’s license (Class B), as travel may be required for the position.  •    Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. 

Certification in any CTP AVEVA platform is a plus.
