Operations & Maintenance Excellence is a service area within AFRY that offers solutions and expertise in Asset Management and Maintenance, with a particular focus on civil and military aviation. We help our customers to implement and update system solutions and optimize processes linked to our area of work.
Job description
We are now looking for you who want to work as a consultant in the aviation area linked to IT support systems for operational follow-up and maintenance. You have an interest in working in the borderland between business and IT.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Technician who can contribute with their knowledge to one of our customer projects. The role will involve working with the rest of the project team to run and coordinate the operation of the development, test and training environments for the project, contributing to the maintenance of the environments and actively participating in operations and management activities.
The work includes:
- Work with daily operation and adaptation of existing environments and set up new or decommission old ones based on the needs of the projects
- Document environments and support in deployments in production environment
- Adapt installation instructions to a government agency's IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with projects and the customer's IT operations organization
The assignment is complex and requires independence, analytical skills and broad technical skills.
Important to success as a consultant is initiative, responsiveness, delivery ability and to quickly familiarize yourself with the customers' business and find the best customer solution.
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of current experience as an IT Operations Technician
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure with documented security protection requirements and experience with Microsoft Server and VMware vSphere, vCenter and vCloud
- At least 3 years of experience as a DBA for Microsoft SQL Server and experience with Oracle database
- At least 2 years of experience in operation/management of TCP/IP, routing and LAN
- Experience with Linux Redhat in Enterprise environments
Advantageous experience:
- Supporting IT projects with planning test and development environments
- Oracle Weblogic server.
- Jasper Soft Report Services.
- To act as an intermediary between system supplier and IT organization
- Systems based on Maintenix from IFS (Mxi).
The position is located in Stockholm, but business travel may occur.
This position may involve placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be carried out before security-classified assignment
