Job description
We have a great need for more pipe and plant designers for our Plant Design, Process Industries division in Sundsvall and Härnösand.
As a pipe and plant designer with us at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work with the design of industrial plants and products, which includes tasks such as procurement, tender documents for pipe installations, process optimization flow charts, equipment lists, layouts, isometrics, material specifications and calculations. All project phases occur such as feasibility studies, pre-projects, implementation and assembly coordination and check-out.
Our design is mainly carried out with 3D modelling together with laser scanning.

Qualifications
We are looking for you with experience in pipe and plant construction and who are interested in developing and see the consultant role as a good way to do so. To thrive in the role, we believe that you are curious and have a willingness and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new organizations, working methods and social contexts. As a person, you are structured, careful and have a high sense of responsibility.
In addition to this, we wish you to have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe and plant construction in the process industry.
- Knowledge of any CAD tool, such as Plant 3D, Aveva PDMS/E3D, Cadmatic and / or Autocad 2D.
- The ability to communicate in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
- B-driving license.
It is meritorious if you have a background in running your own assignments and if you have experience from the process industry, chemical industry and / or paper mill industry.
