About the role
We are looking for an experienced electrical systems & components engineer for aviation electrification. We are facing a number of technical challenges and want to find you who can contribute with your knowledge and experience and strengthen our already competent team. In the role of electrical/power electronics systems engineer, you will mainly develop products in electrical power generation and everything around it, but also integration with adjacent components in an aircraft. In the role you will develop electrical systems and components placed in a very challenging environment.
Duties
- Development of requirement specifications for electrical machines, power electronics and related electrical components.
- Participate in design work and mechanical integration of electrical components.
- Develop & design testing of electrical systems
- Specify and procure the necessary test equipment
- Build the testing capability of the team
- Lead the building of competence in the field
- Lead and coach a team of junior engineers
Requirements specification
- You are a civil engineer in electrical systems with a specialization in electrical power/electrical machines or possess equivalent in-depth knowledge in the field.
- Broad and deep knowledge in semiconductor physics and physics in general
- Technical breadth and interest in working together with adjacent technology areas.
- Knowledge in measurement systems signal conditioning and analysis.
- English in speech and writing,
- Approved security clearance will be required for the position
