AFRY's stated commitment to a more sustainable Process Industry gives us opportunities to recruit further as we have many interesting projects and assignments ahead of us! We are now looking for Process Engineers who want to be part of an awesome team located in either Umeå or Örnsköldsvik!

The market area BIOINDUSTRY, PULP & PAPER Sweden, is about 100 Process Engineers and with our commitment to take our broad knowledge in the area and market it internationally, we want to recruit additional employees!

In your role as a Process Engineer, you will work in assignments or projects, both large and small, and be responsible for developing process design, functional descriptions, dimensioning, requirement specifications, for process installations and process equipment, etc. We work in accordance with our well-established project model and quality system where we have elaborate routines, instructions and templates for our project implementations

Your closest colleagues consist of about 8 driven process engineers with an impressive combined track record. We are proud of the spread of experience we have within the section and always do our best to support each other in assignments and development. Examples of assignments can be to modernize and streamline a production process or plant, expand capacity or build a completely new production line. Deliveries are made through expert services as well as complete functional or total commitments. Customers are found in virtually all industrial sectors, with a particularly strong position in paper and pulp, bio-refinery and hydrogen. But also assignments for energy companies and their process systems.

As an employee with us, you will either work In-house and start from our office in Umeå or Örnsköldsvik or you will start from the customer's project organization. We in the section are in an exciting phase. Therefore, we are now looking for committed employees to develop the business to be able to take on more and larger commitments in process!

Qualifications

You have an aptitude for creating many and good relationships with customers, employees and colleagues, and are interested in building contacts both internally and externally. You like to take responsibility for your work and can perform it independently while you like to collaborate with different skills and people where everyone has the same goal and where you together must find the right way to reach the goal!

To succeed well in the role of Process Engineer, we see that you have:

• A degree as a civil engineer or university engineer in process engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering or similar relevant field.
• Preferably at least 3 years of work experience in process design, preferably with experience from process industrial projects.
• You have an aptitude for creating many and good relationships with customers, employees and colleagues and are interested in building contacts internally and externally.
• Experience of working in project form.
• You are flexible and have the ability to work with several projects or assignments at the same time.

Extra meritorious is if you have experience from the process industry, paper and pulp, bio-refinery and hydrogen or CCS as most of our assignments are currently in these areas.

In addition, you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing, and have a B driving license as travel in the service and customer visits occur.
