Job description

AFRY is one of the leading players in Scandinavia and works closely with clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical technology. We are now looking for process engineers who want to contribute to the solutions of the future in Life Science.

As a process engineer at AFRY, you work closely with manufacturing processes and the development of factory environments in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. The role involves both creative problem solving and analytical work, where you carry out root cause analyses and drive improvement work. You work mainly at our customers, but also participate in projects from our offices and may accompany FAT at suppliers in Sweden and Europe.

In the role, you are a technical sounding board in new and rebuilding projects, develop requirement specifications and functional descriptions, conduct technical tests, analyze results and drive improvement work. You also work with optimization of processes, investigation of deviations and development of instructions, documentation, qualification and validation.

You will be part of a team of about 15 colleagues in Solna and Södertälje. As our customers are located throughout Mälardalen, we would like you to have a B-driving license and the opportunity to commute

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in, for example, chemistry, biotechnology or medical technology and at least two years of experience working as a process engineer in the pharmaceutical industry. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English and work in a structured, thorough and independent manner. You are communicative, have good organizational skills and thrive in collaboration with others. If you have experience of leadership and development of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, P&ID, it is meritorious.

Further information

At AFRY you will be part of a safe and development-oriented organization where you will have the opportunity to grow in your role. We offer a fixed salary and collective agreement, even between assignments, as well as supplementary pay during parental leave. You will have great development opportunities through varied and exciting projects, together with customers who have great confidence in our competence. We offer a flexible work environment with great freedom under responsibility and we care about a good work-life balance. As an employee, you will also have access to Club AFRY, our staff club with activities in culture, sports and health, such as events, book club, cabin rental and yoga.
