Job Description

We are now looking for a Process Engineer for our Life Science team in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will work on client assignments and internal projects, taking on a technical role in process design, technical decision-making, and delivery. You will contribute both operationally and strategically in complex GMP-regulated environments.  

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes
• Contribute process engineering expertise to projects from early phases through qualification and startup
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA)
• Develop requirements specifications (e.g., URS as well as equipment and facility requirements)
• Support equipment selection, procurement, and qualification
• Conduct risk analyses (e.g., HAZOP)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, validation, automation, HVAC, and project management

Qualifications

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in a relevant field and a solution-oriented approach.

• At least 3 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical, MedTech, biotech, or life sciences industry
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
• Expertise in process design, scale-up, and optimization
• Experience with validation and technical documentation
• Strong understanding of P&ID and process systems
• Experience working in cross-functional project teams
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
