Are you dedicated, skilled in production engineering, and a good communicator? Would you like to work on a variety of tasks closely related to production? Then we have the perfect job for you!

We are currently looking for a production engineer for our Product Development department in Örebro, where you will work with production engineering for our clients in the telecom, automotive, defense, manufacturing, and mining industries.

This is a broad role where you will serve as a key link between product development/design and production. You will work on developing production layouts, tool design, and the procurement of new production equipment. You will also be involved in the introduction of new products, drawing reviews, planning, machine capacity, method selection, and programming.

Qualifications

We expect applicants for this position to have the following qualifications:

  • Degree from a technical university or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in production engineering
  • Knowledge of CAD and reading drawings. Knowledge of quality control documentation such as FMEA.
  • Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Class B driver’s license 

You will be based at AFRY’s office in Örebro and/or at the client’s premises.
