Are you dedicated, skilled in production engineering, and a good communicator? Would you like to work on a variety of tasks closely related to production? Then we have the perfect position for you!

We are currently seeking a production engineer for our Product Development division in Örebro, where you will work with production engineering for our clients in the telecom, automotive, defense, manufacturing, and mining industries.

This is a broad role in which you’ll serve as a key link between product development/design and production. You’ll work on developing production layouts, tool design, and the procurement of new production equipment. You’ll also be involved in the introduction of new products, drawing reviews, preparation, machine capacity planning, method selection, and programming.

Qualifications

We expect applicants for this position to have the following qualifications:

  • Degree from a technical university or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in production engineering
  • Knowledge of CAD and reading drawings. Knowledge of quality control documentation such as FMEA.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Class B driver’s license

You will be based at AFRY’s office in Örebro and/or at the client’s premises.
