Job Description
AFRY is one of the leading players in civil engineering in the Nordic region, and thanks to our unique breadth of expertise, we are proud to deliver the infrastructure solutions of the future together with our colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
We are now seeking a Project and Construction Manager for our civil engineering division in Gällivare. Within the division, which consists of staff in both Kiruna and Gällivare, we primarily work with land and road design as well as construction and project management. We also have expertise in cultural heritage, surveying, data coordination, and BIM.
As a Project or Construction Manager, you will drive, coordinate, and monitor projects in land development and water and sewer systems. You will contribute your expertise as a construction specialist and work on cost estimates, among other tasks. You’ll work closely with clients and teams and have ample opportunities for further development. We offer a varied role with autonomy and responsibility in: construction management, inspections, design support, production planning, and production budgeting—all within a large company that boasts extensive expertise both company-wide and within our division.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Has many years of experience in civil engineering and water/sewer systems, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of AMA MER, AB, ABT
- Possess strong technical expertise in civil engineering and water and wastewater
- Ideally have experience in multiple roles (e.g., client, consultant, or production)
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or have equivalent experience
- A team player who shares your knowledge and supports others
- Accustomed to taking responsibility and driving projects from start to finish
- Social, professional, and customer-focused
- Are fluent in spoken and written Swedish
