Do you want to help create a fossil-free future? Now is your chance to support our projects to be even better! Project Office within Vattenfall Power Solutions (VPS) is now looking for a Project Assurance Lead with the ability to see the opportunities and challenges of each project/program.
Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of about 430 people who supply nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develop and implement projects and assignments and provide internal technical specialist services for all of Vattenfall's operations, Group staffs and stakeholders. This includes activities such as analysis management and investigation, product development, nuclear safety and dam safety assignments, project management and project support. The focus of the Vattenfall Power Solutions business unit is to develop our capabilities in selected key technical disciplines and project management. We work actively with continuous improvement initiatives and development of our models, where our work and competence creates great value for Vattenfall and its investments.
The purpose of Project Assurance is to create an independent holistic view of a project/program's maturity and to create value by identifying improvement potential and synergies between different organizations.
In the role of Project Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for and conduct reviews of mainly nuclear and hydropower related projects/programs prior to decisions. You will be responsible for providing recommendations to decision makers and identifying opportunities for efficiencies, improvements and synergies. Your work will include leading Assurance teams in relation to project/programme reviews. Responsibilities also include planning, preparation, execution and reporting of Assurance. In this role, you will have many different interfaces and provide regular feedback on the opportunities and challenges that exist or arise in your assignments.
