Job Description

We’re looking for several project engineers in Electrical, Automation, and Instrumentation Engineering to join our growing team in Piteå. The role is broad and varied—perfect for those who enjoy combining technology, problem-solving, and project management.

For example, you will work on:

• Modernizing and streamlining production processes
• Building new production lines and increasing capacity
• Preparing technical request for proposals for assembly and instrumentation
• Hardware design and programming of PLC/DCS systems
• Creating and interpreting interlock diagrams and functional specifications
• Control engineering in collaboration with process engineers
• Project management, installation management, and commissioning

You’ll have the opportunity to grow in the role of consultant—with support from experienced colleagues and access to AFRY’s broad network of expertise.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience in electrical design
• Knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, ElProCad, or E-plan
• Experience in the process industry, preferably in maintenance or as a consultant
• Good command of Swedish and English
• A Class B driver’s license and Swedish citizenship (some assignments are security-classified)

You are a self-motivated problem-solver who enjoys taking responsibility, collaborating, and delivering high-quality results. If you have your own client contacts in this field, that’s a big plus!
