Job Description

As a project engineer, you’ll work alongside the project manager on both large-scale infrastructure projects and urban development projects. You’ll be a key part of the project management team and actively contribute to ensuring structure, quality, and progress in our projects. In this role, you’ll support the project manager in their day-to-day work, for example by:

• scheduling
• quality assurance 
• preparing budget estimates and conducting ongoing financial monitoring
• coordinating requirements, risks, and quality
• planning and coordinating deliveries.

You will plan and participate in both internal and external meetings, document and follow up on decisions, and play an active role in driving projects forward together with the project team and our clients. For those with a strong interest in project management and a self-driven approach, this position offers excellent opportunities for professional development, where you can gradually take on greater responsibility and drive your own initiatives. At the same time, you’ll gain broad insight into various technical fields and the complexity involved in civil engineering projects.

Within the Project Management section, approximately fifty dedicated team players work with a passion for technology and a strong commitment to project management. We lead design assignments at all stages and have a broad skill set consisting of project/assignment managers, project engineers, and project controllers. Together, we take a structured approach to requirements, risk, and quality coordination to ensure efficient, sustainable, and high-quality deliverables in our projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, or similar
• New to the industry or with a few years of experience as a project engineer or design engineer
• Structured, driven, and responsible, with strong collaboration skills
• Ability to follow up on issues, take initiative, and contribute to project development
• Interest in technology and project management
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
