Job description

Advanced Automation is a business area within AFRY that delivers complete automation solutions to clients in industry and production. With broad expertise in automation, IT and system integration, we run projects from idea to commissioning - always with a focus on quality, safety and sustainability.

In the role of sub-project leading electrical designer, you will have a varied everyday life where you combine technical work with project management. You have the opportunity to shape the role based on your experience and ambitions - whether you want to take more responsibility, immerse yourself technically or support colleagues.

You run your own projects and act as an important resource in the team, where you also have the opportunity to coach more junior employees. Tasks include electrical design of cabinets, upgrades of existing systems and new design of complete solutions. Depending on your profile, you may also work with commissioning, system descriptions and electrical project management.

You will work on assignments for some of AFRY's largest industrial customers - both in our own project operations and directly at the customer's site. The projects are mainly local and often recurring, which gives you the opportunity to build long-term relationships and understand the customer's needs in depth.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A few years of experience in basic industry, such as the steel, engineering or mining industry, or other manufacturing industry.
• Practical experience in areas such as work management, field construction, assembly management and / or investigation linked to industrial machine installations.
• Preferably experience of leading projects, sub-projects or assignments.
• Relevant technical education and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
• B driving license - travel occurs, but is usually within Southern Dalarna.

It is advantageous if you have experience of investment calculations and experience of working with feasibility studies and pre-project planning in industrial projects.
