Job description
Grid Integration, Substation & Distribution (GISD) is part of AFRY's Transmission & Distribution business in Sweden. We are over 140 electric power specialists who together work across the country with projects in electricity networks - from transmission networks to local distribution and contribute to the development of the electrified society of the future.
We are now strengthening our expertise in distribution in Stockholm and are looking for a project manager who wants to be involved in developing our business in the region.
As a project manager with us, you work as a consultant in our customers' projects in the electricity network and are responsible for the implementation of the projects - from planning to follow-up. You will lead and coordinate projects with responsibility for schedule, finance and quality, and ensure that deliveries are made according to applicable processes, standards and regulations.
In the role, you will work closely with customers, technicians and other stakeholders, driving projects forward and dealing with technical and practical challenges along the way. You will also contribute to the development of ways of working and methods within AFRY and help strengthen our position in the energy transition and the electricity grid of the future.
Qualifications
We see that you who apply for the position have:
It is meritorious if you have a post-secondary education in electrical power or energy and experience of preparation, design or construction management in local networks. Certification in project management, such as IPMA, PMI or PRINCE2, is also an advantage, as well as previous experience from work as a consultant or contractor.
As a person, you are business-minded, self-driven and confident in an assignment management role. You work in a structured and quality-conscious manner, take responsibility for the whole and build trusting relationships with both customers and colleagues. With a solution-oriented and unpretentious approach, you drive the work forward with a focus on delivery and customer benefit.
