Job Description
We’re looking for someone with several years of experience in electrical design and automation who is now ready to take the next step in their career—perhaps in project management? You’ll be part of our Electrical & Automation division. We offer stimulating work with challenging projects as part of a dedicated and wonderful team!
As a Senior Electrical Designer / Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for electrical design and project management in the industrial sector. You’ll work on exciting projects—both large and small—and have the opportunity to see them through from concept to operational facility. Our clients are primarily in the process, paper, and steel industries, but also in the energy and manufacturing sectors.
In this role, you will work with electrical design in the industrial sector, where your responsibilities will include designing control panels, upgrading existing systems, and participating in the construction of new electrical systems. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute your technical expertise in both electrical engineering and automation.
In addition to the hands-on work, you’ll also take responsibility for subprojects, which means participating in the bidding process, designing technical solutions, preparing cost estimates, and liaising with subcontractors. You’ll collaborate with other technical departments within the group and have many points of contact—both internally and externally. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor and support less experienced colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with solid experience in electrical design within industrial operations, preferably from the process, paper, or steel industries. You have worked on electrical and automation projects and have strong proficiency in CAD software such as Comos, Eplan, and/or ElproCad. Your technical background is complemented by a relevant college degree.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and hold a Class B driver’s license, as travel is required for this position. As a person, you are curious, responsible, and down-to-earth. You thrive on varied tasks, enjoy collaborating, and have the ability to drive projects forward—even when they become challenging.
