Job Description

We are currently expanding our team with design engineers/project engineers with technical responsibility who want to play a key role focused on our data center projects.

With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work on advanced buildings and facilities that require complex technical installations.

You’ll have overall responsibility for various technical installations in our projects, from early concept studies and technical decision-making to final delivery and commissioning. You will work to develop technical solutions, ensure high-quality deliveries, and create the conditions for efficient project execution.

The role involves significant technical responsibility, where you will serve as a specialist in various technical installations while also acting as a natural coordinator within the project team.

An important part of the role is to provide structure and technical guidance for the projects. You will plan and coordinate the design work within your area of responsibility, monitor progress, and ensure that the solutions meet both customer requirements and applicable standards.

The work is varied and can include everything from new construction, renovations, and optimization of existing facilities to customer-specific adaptations.

This role offers the flexibility to work from various locations, such as Falun, Borlänge, Mora, Sundsvall, or Skellefteå.You’ll have the flexibility to combine work from the office, home, and client sites based on discussions with your manager regarding the needs of the assignment and the team.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we look for the following:

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design or hands-on work with electrical and telecommunications installations.
• Data center experience is a plus, but relevant experience may also come from industry, energy, installation, construction, or other technically complex environments
• Relevant education in electrical engineering, electrical design, or electrical power, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong proficiency in documentation tools, as well as the ability to manage and understand various clients’ requirements and documentation systems
• Very strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you also have: 

• Strong technical understanding and experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines in a project environment
• Experience with client contact and driving projects together with external stakeholders
• Experience working in a project-based environment, preferably in a leadership role within industrial projects
• Experience in data centers, energy, the process industry, critical infrastructure, or other mission-critical operations.
• Experience leading projects through external contractors and suppliers
• Experience assigning tasks to team members in the project team
