Job Description

Our Electrical & Automation department at AFRY currently consists of a team of about 20 colleagues based in Jönköping. We work with everything from electrical design, programming, risk assessments in machine safety, and project management to electrical inspections. With us, you’ll be part of a team that enjoys working together. With our broad and deep expertise, we’re able to help both our clients and each other succeed and grow. 

As a project manager with us, you’ll work on automation projectsacross a variety of industries, such as manufacturing, logistics, energy, and infrastructure.

The role will involve managing contracts, customer relationships, negotiations,scheduling and resource management, documentation, cost control, and follow-ups.

The team consists of knowledgeable and dedicated colleagueswhere sharing experience and knowledge is a strong part of our culture.

We work primarily on projects and collaborate with colleagues in other geographic regions and technical fields. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you are motivated by working in a challenging and dynamic work environment and are solution-oriented and proactive in everything you undertake. That said, we know that together we need to create the right conditions for this, which is why we also value your ability to collaborate and communicate, as well as your initiative. 

To be a good fit for this role with us, we believe you have: 

• previous experience as a project manager in a relevant industry 
• knowledge of industrial automation and mechanics 
• knowledge of installation, assembly, and commissioning 
• strong written and spoken English and Swedish skills; German is a plus 
• Relevant college education or equivalent experience

It is advantageous if you have project management certification, such as PMI, IPMA, or Prince2, and a good understanding of contract types under AB/ABT/NLM.
