Job Description
With approximately 1,000 employees, AFRY’s Public & Commercial Places business area is one of Sweden’s leading players in the construction and real estate sector. In the field of structural engineering, we work on both complex new construction and renovation projects, with a focus on sustainable, robust, and cost-effective solutions.
Here in Örebro, you’ll be part of a growing team with a strong local presence and deep roots in the region. We have contracts with a number of major clients in the region, including Region Örebro County, which means you will most likely be working on projects related to hospitals and healthcare settings—often with high demands for functionality, durability, and long-term sustainability.
You will work on both local assignments in the Örebro region and larger national projects, often in close collaboration with public and private clients. The role offers a varied and rewarding workday where you’ll follow projects throughout the entire process—from early stages and system documentation to construction drawings and production.
The Örebro office currently consists of about twenty employees in the Public & Commercial Places division, with primary expertise in HVAC and electrical systems. Our structural engineering practice in Örebro is currently being established, giving you a unique opportunity to help build and develop our local offerings—both technically and commercially.
As a Project Manager in structural engineering, you’ll play a central role with both technical and business responsibilities.
