Job description

Do you have experience with sprinklers? Are you currently working as a supervising sprinkler designer, project manager or project manager in sprinkler with experience of complex projects? Based in Borlänge and Stockholm, we have a sprinkler group that has the ambition to grow in the coming years within the region. Location is flexible and can be adapted based on your preferences. Location can be Stockholm, Uppsala, Gävle or at one of our local offices in Dalarna. If you are the right person and live in another location, it may also be urgent. At AFRY, we have a recurring need to welcome new employees, both experienced and newly graduated. At this stage, we are mainly looking for a qualified water sprinkler engineer who will step into the role of administrator or assignment manager in sprinklers in larger complex projects.

Our projects are both fun, challenging and varied, our customers are in real estate, industry, schools and hospitals. With us, you get to follow the projects from the early stages to delivery and follow-up. The service includes working with everything from early stages to calculations, design and drawings that are designed in MagiCAD on Revit and to produce technical documentation and documents.

The sprinkler group belongs to AFRY's Public & Commercial Places business area, which with over 1200 employees is one of the largest players in Sweden in the real estate sector. Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a sprinkler designer, preferably in complex projects.
• Experience as a water sprinkler engineer or experience as a supervising designer.
• Experience working with regulations such as SBF 120, and preferably NFPA and FM Data Sheets.
• Advantageous if you have worked with water mist and framework documents for gas extinguishing systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and cooperate with customers and fellow consultants.
• Interest in other disciplines and in understanding the customer's needs.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both oral and written.
• Experience of MagicCAD on Revit is a plus - but not a requirement. We offer support and mentoring for those who want to learn.
