Job description
Do you want to lead specialist projects in sprinkler and fire protection in technically advanced environments? We are now looking for a Sprinkler Project Manager - you who have several years of experience in sprinkler design or who are already working as a project manager in the field.
In the role, you are responsible for the design and management of sprinkler assignments in complex and socially important projects, for example in hospitals, high-security facilities, defense and infrastructure. You lead the sprinkler design work, coordinate with other technical disciplines and are an important contact with customers, contractors and authorities.
You work strategically with quality, regulations and technical solutions, and contribute to the development of working methods, digital design and BIM in the sprinkler area. The role provides great influence over technical choices, system solutions and project implementation.
Possible location for the role is in Stockholm, Gävle, Uppsala or Enköping. The role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from home some days.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are confident in your competence in sprinklers and are motivated by responsibility, leadership and customer-oriented work.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- Relevant technical education, such as HVAC engineer, fire engineer or equivalent experience
- BIV certificate
- Several years of experience in sprinkler design and/or the role of project manager
- Very good knowledge of sprinkler systems, components and system design
- Good understanding of applicable regulations and standards, such as SBF, NFPA, AMA and BBR
- Experience of design in MagiCad (AutoCAD or Revit) or equivalent tools
- Ability to coordinate sprinkler issues with other technical areas in multidisciplinary projects
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
Additional:
- Experience from projects in hospitals, defense facilities or assignments against the Swedish Fortifications Agency
- Experience of working in security-classified environments
- Experience of inspections, operational issues or verification of sprinkler systems
- Knowledge of combined fire and extinguishing systems and advanced facilities
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and develop working methods in sprinkler design
