Job Description

Would you like to lead specialized projects in sprinkler systems and fire protection in technically advanced environments? We are currently seeking a Sprinkler Project Manager—someone with several years of experience in sprinkler design or who is currently working as a project manager in this field.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and management of sprinkler projects in complex and critical-infrastructure projects, such as hospitals, high-security facilities, defense, and infrastructure. You will lead the design work for sprinkler systems, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, and serve as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

You will work strategically with quality, regulations, and technical solutions, and contribute to the development of work methods, digital design, and BIM within the sprinkler field. The role offers significant influence over technical decisions, system solutions, and project implementation.

Possible locations for the role are in Stockholm, Gävle, Uppsala, or Enköping. The role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from home on certain days.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their expertise in sprinkler systems and is motivated by responsibility, leadership, and customer-focused work.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Relevant technical education, such as a degree in HVAC engineering, fire protection engineering, or equivalent experience
  • BIV certification
  • Several years of experience in sprinkler system design and/or as a project manager
  • Very good knowledge of sprinkler systems, components, and system architecture
  • Good understanding of applicable regulations and standards, such as SBF, NFPA, AMA, and BBR
  • Experience with design in MagiCAD (AutoCAD or Revit) or equivalent tools
  • Ability to coordinate sprinkler-related issues with other technical disciplines in multidisciplinary projects
  • Very good written and spoken Swedish and English

Desirable:

  • Experience with projects in hospitals, defense facilities, or assignments for the Swedish Fortifications Agency
  • Experience working in security-classified environments
  • Experience with inspections, operational issues, or verification of sprinkler systems
  • Knowledge of combined fire and suppression systems as well as advanced installations
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop work methods within sprinkler design

We believe you are organized, solution-oriented, and communicative, with the ability to lead both technical teams and people toward high quality and reliable deliveries.
