Job description

The position is located at AFRY's central security protection department within Group Security, which is responsible for the overall security work in the group. AFRY is a leading provider of consultants to security-sensitive operations and critical infrastructure, and the role involves developing and managing that trust.

As a Protective Security Specialist, you are responsible for customer assignments covered by security protection agreements. You will provide guidance to internal staff, manage and assess contracts and processes, and act as a point of contact for both internal and external parties, including security managers from government agencies and major corporations. The role offers great freedom to pursue your own cases and the opportunity to contribute to the development of the department.
The position is located at AFRY's office in Solna. There is the possibility to work one day per week remotely.

Example of work tasks:

• Administration within security protection 
• Work with personnel security issues  
• Draft and manage governing documents in the area
• Advise and train internal and external stakeholders  

Qualifications

We look for applicants to have: 

• Current experience of working in security.
• Very good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
• Good administrative skills and used to working in the Office package.
• Knowledge of the Security Protection Act and associated regulations.
• Experience of security checks.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in conducting interviews for personal assessment, personal investigation or selection work.
• Experience in physical security.
• Experience in information security.
• Experience in Signal Protection.
• Researcher experience

We place high demands on our employees' security and privacy awareness. Before a decision on employment is made, a security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be carried out, as the position involves handling classified information or participation in security-sensitive activities. As the employment relates to a position in a security class, the security clearance will also include a register check and, in some cases, a special personal investigation.
