We are now looking for a Quality Technician on behalf of a client who wants to be part of an exciting journey in the defense industry. As a Quality Technician, you will have the opportunity to work very independently within the area of responsibility. You will have many contacts, mainly with suppliers in Sweden and Europe.

As a Quality Technician, you will be a key person in ensuring that suppliers meet high quality requirements. You will work closely with both internal and external parties to investigate quality deviations, drive improvement work and follow up actions. You will also collaborate internally with engineering, purchasing, SQM and production.

Your main tasks will include:

• Investigating quality issues and non-conformances in the supply chain
• Applying interim measures
• Leading and following up on 8D investigations or similar structured problem solving methods
• Deciding on corrective actions
• Driving suppliers to conduct root cause investigations
• Collaborating with purchasing, production and engineering to ensure the right quality
• Document and report quality status
• Participate in improvement work

The service also includes flash investigations when a major deviation has occurred. This includes working with an investigation team to gather facts, request and evaluate quality and non-conformity reports from suppliers and check inventory to quickly address the problem and find an appropriate solution.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have training in quality assurance, quality control or similar
• Have at least 3 years of experience in quality work in manufacturing industry, preferably defense or other regulated industry
• Are structured, analytical and have good problem solving skills
• Have good knowledge of 8D methodology or similar tools for root cause analysis
• Communicate clearly and have easy to collaborate

Additional: Experience with SAP or similar business systems.

The position requires you to undergo and pass a security clearance, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position.
