Job description

As a Quality Technician, you will be a central point of contact between the client's organization and their suppliers. You work closely with the business with complaints, deviation management, root cause analysis and improvement work, with the aim of strengthening quality and developing long-term sustainable supplier relationships.

The position is located at the customer in Örnsköldsvik.

The role is also advertised in Umeå and for those who live there, AFRY stands for commuting.

Your duties include, among other things:

  • Review and assess cases of suspected non-conformities
  • Gather facts, analyze and investigate root causes
  • Assess scope, severity and prioritization of non-conformities
  • Decide on, follow up and verify corrective actions (CAPA)
  • Convene and lead quality meetings in collaboration with other functions
  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials and components according to established quality requirements
  • Drive and participate in improvement work
  • Build and develop good relationships with suppliers
  • Manage supplier contacts in case of complaints

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Quality engineering or production engineering university education, or equivalent competence through work experience
  • Practical experience of quality work and problem-solving methods
  • Good understanding of technical documentation
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is also advantageous that you have experience of SAP and good experience of Excel.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for the position and you need to be comfortable with drug testing and security clearance being part of the recruitment process.

Travel in the service may be required.
