Job Description

Would you like to work in an organization where quality, technology, and continuous improvement are central? We are now seeking a Quality Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with a leading industrial client. This role is ideal for someone with experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing industry who enjoys conducting investigations, coordinating corrective actions, and working closely with production teams and suppliers.

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in the client’s production quality efforts. You will be responsible for managing and investigating quality deviations in production, ensuring the quality of incoming materials, and collaborating with suppliers in the event of complaints.

You will have many points of contact within the organization and work closely with production, purchasing, engineering, and suppliers to ensure high quality and effective improvement measures.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Review and assess quality issues in cases of suspected deviations
• Gather facts and conduct root cause analyses
• Assess the scope, severity, and priority of deviations
• Decide on and follow up on corrective actions
• Convene and lead quality meetings together with relevant functions
• Handle supplier complaints and quality assurance with suppliers
• Conduct inspections of incoming materials and components
• Actively participate in improvement and development efforts
• Report to the Production Quality Manager

We are looking for someone with

• Expertise in surface treatment
• A college degree in quality engineering or production engineering, or equivalent expertise gained through experience
• Practical experience with quality assurance in the manufacturing industry
• A good understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable

• Experience with the SAP business system
• Proficiency in Excel

Qualifications

Since this role involves working for a defense client, you must be a Swedish citizen to qualify for this position.
