Job Description
We continue to grow and are now seeking railway expertise for our offices across the country. Whether you’re a specialist, project manager, consultant, or technician, we’d like to hear from you if you’re interested in helping us develop the railways of the future. We work on all phases of railway projects, from initial studies to production. Our work includes design, structural engineering, project management, inspection, and construction management. We are actively seeking a wide range of professionals—including designers, structural engineers, inspection and construction specialists across the entire BEST+MK portfolio, as well as electrical power engineers—who can take on all kinds of exciting assignments.
AFRY’s railway organization is nationwide, with offices from Luleå to Malmö, and through close collaboration between departments/offices and technical disciplines, we form a strong, cohesive whole. This allows us to offer flexible work locations based on your needs and preferences. We work on feasibility studies, concept and preliminary studies, the design of construction documents and management data, as well as reviews and inspections. Our projects are often complex, and we work in cross-disciplinary teams with some of AFRY’s other 18,000 experts—we love it because it’s both fun and rewarding.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in the railway industry within one of the following technical areas: track, overhead contact lines, low voltage, signaling, telecommunications, ducting, civil engineering, or electrical power. Alternatively, you may have experience working as an assignment or project manager on railway projects. You likely have a master’s or bachelor’s degree, but you may also have acquired equivalent knowledge through other means.
