Job description

For several of our offices around Sweden, we are now looking for you who are an experienced project manager/engineering manager in Track Technology who can take on all exciting assignments.

We are looking for you who are passionate about seeing people grow and together achieve good solutions. We believe that you have worked for about 5-10 years with track design in various forms and want to work as a technical manager where you both design and lead design colleagues from different offices and countries.

We are looking for you who have a college / university degree or have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way. You are interested in technology and maybe even have experience from the construction side.

AFRY's railway organization is national with offices from north to south, east to west and through close cooperation between sections/offices and technical areas, we together form a strong whole. Therefore, we can also offer flexible stationing according to your needs and wishes. We work with investigations, conceptual and feasibility studies, design of railway plans, system documentation, construction documents and management data, review and inspection. Our assignments are often complex and we work in interdisciplinary teams with some of AFRY's other 19,000 experts - we love it as it is both fun and challenging.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have 5-10 years of experience in project planning in the technical area of Tracks.

At AFRY, we are brave and dedicated team players, which we also see you are. Furthermore, you find it easy to understand and participate in technical discussions and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You simply like railways, technology, business and working together, both with your colleagues and our customers.

The role of technology manager includes setting up and following your own budget and schedule for the technology area and communicating internally and externally linked to your technology area and towards other technology areas. You have direct contact with the customer and will be advisory on technical issues in your technical area. In the role, it is important to be driven in your own technical area and to be able to lead and communicate well with others.

Further information

At AFRY, you will have access to close to 19,000 colleagues who are highly skilled in their areas of expertise and we hope that you will learn as much from us as we will from you. We want our employees to thrive and develop through clear competence development programs that are tailored to each person.

We also know that employees who feel good, both physically and mentally, are the most important success factor. That's why we care about a good working environment and work-life balance. We want to be your ideal employer, whatever your stage of life, and we understand the importance of a functional whole. For all our employees, we offer a modern workplace in a global context with both ambition and security.
