Job Description
Are you an experienced specialist in refrigeration and heat pump technology who wants to work with advanced energy systems in complex projects? We are currently seeking a refrigeration specialist for our HVAC division in Stockholm who wants to contribute their expertise to the development of tomorrow’s energy-efficient cooling and heating solutions.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects alongside experts in energy, installation, and sustainability. Projects include commercial buildings, industrial facilities, hospitals, laboratories, and data centers, where demands for energy efficiency and system integration are high.
In the role of cooling specialist, you will serve as a technical expert and advisor on projects where advanced cooling and energy systems are central. You will work both in the early stages—involving system selection and analysis—and in the design phases, where you will support project teams with your specialized expertise.
Examples of job responsibilities:
System design and technical consulting for cooling systems and heat pump solutions
Analysis and sizing of chillers, heat pumps, free cooling, and hybrid solutions
Evaluation and design of thermal energy storage systems, such as geothermal heating and cooling storage (BTES/ATES)
Consulting on the selection of refrigerants and future technical solutions
Interpretation and application of the EU F-Gas Regulation and other relevant regulations
Technical consulting for complex projects such as data centers, industrial processes, and large-scale real estate projects
Collaboration with energy engineers, HVAC designers, and other technical specialists in multidisciplinary projects
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with at least 8 years of experience in refrigeration or heat pump technology, for example as a consultant, specialist, or technical expert.
You have in-depth knowledge in several of the following areas:
Commercial refrigeration systems and heat pumps
Refrigerants and the transition to new low-GWP refrigerants
EU regulations and the F-Gas Regulation
Borehole storage, geothermal heating, geothermal cooling, and other thermal energy storage systems
Integration of cooling, heating, and energy systems in buildings or industrial facilities
It is advantageous if you also have experience with:
Large-scale or technically complex installations
Data centers, laboratories, or industrial cooling systems
Energy system analysis or system optimization
Project management or technical leadership in projects
You have a relevant technical degree, such as a Master of Science in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Personal Qualities
As a person, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and enjoy working with complex technical issues. You are eager to share your expertise and contribute to the development of both projects and colleagues.
Since our projects are carried out in close collaboration with clients, it is a requirement that you have a strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
